Saints College is a school of the Edmund Rice Education Australia Victorian Schools Ltd. Since 2012, we have led that way in radically inclusive education, by providing a safe, inclusive, and flexible learning environment for young people who have experienced barriers to accessing mainstream education. Our team is committed to supporting young people in re-engaging with learning through neuroaffirming, strengths based and trauma-informed approaches that meet their individual needs.

We offer a full-time, multi-year secondary education program designed to meet the diverse learning needs of young people. Through flexible and innovative teaching methods, we provide a safe, supportive and holistic learning experience that encourages young people to set learning goals, identify and develop their strengths, explore future pathways, and transition into adulthood, employment, further education, and community participation.
Our campuses offer tailored programs that integrate wellbeing and education, ensuring young people receive the individualised support they need to thrive. We work closely with families, community organisations, and support services to provide wraparound support that addresses both educational and personal development needs.
Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.
We recognise that each young person’s journey is unique. Our staff are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment where young people can develop confidence, reconnect with education, and work towards their goals.
Our Team
Since opening in 2016, our Geelong campus has grown into a thriving community of around 160 young people. Many students are reconnecting with education after facing social or emotional barriers. With a strong focus on hands-on learning and community involvement, staff work flexibly to support each learner’s growth.
The Role
The Administration Support Worker is responsible for ensuring the smooth and high-quality day-to-day running of the administrative and school support areas in order to meet Saints College’s needs and Compliance requirements.
This position will:
- Develop and maintain administrative processes which support the efficient and compliant operation of Saints College.
- Take responsibility for ensuring all administrative functions and compliance are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be supported by the Senior Administration Officer and School Leader in this responsibility.
- Work collaboratively with staff to provide a safe, conducive work environment for staff and young people.
- Support staff in providing activities/programs for young people.
You will be employed on an ongoing part time 0.4 FTE basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
Classification for the role is a Category A ESS Level 3, with a salary range of $82,148 to $93,079 (depending on education and experience).
You will need
- Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty
- Formal qualifications at diploma/degree level or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months)
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- A commitment to ongoing professional learning for self and others to enable further development of skills, expertise and teaching capacity.
- Ability and willingness to travel to school sites and attend professional development as required.
- Experience in developing and maintaining administrative processes which support efficient and compliant operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in the context of relating to team members, young people and parents/caregivers.
- Strong Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a range of people
- Experience in supporting young people with disability and/or neurodivergence
- The ability to inspire and engage young people with learning activities
- Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential
