Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.

Job Description
The Role
The Information Communication Technology (ICT) team is a centrally managed function, with staff based in both metro and regional Victoria. This team supports the ICT needs of individual school campuses and central service functions. The breadth of IT Services ranges from IT Infrastructure to IT Support Services. The ICT Team comprises of two components: Technology and end-user facing Service Delivery. This Role resides in the Technology area and ensures that the backbone just works - thereby limiting the end-user interruptions caused by technology issues.
The Role ensures that ICT systems and infrastructure are integrated, reliable, secure, and aligned with the school's goals and policies. Key responsibilities include applying best practices in systems and network administration, maintaining compliance with ICT standards and policies, identifying emerging ICT needs, and advising on ICT operations. This role may require travel to different campuses as needed.
You will be employed on an Ongoing full time basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
Classification for the role is a Category A ESS Level 3 with a salary range of $87,322 to $93,079 in accordance with the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 (depending on education and experience).
Desired Skills and Experience
You will need
Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant industry qualifications and/or experience designing, implementing and managing public cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure or Amazon Web Services) would be well regarded.
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months)
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders to deliver system and network solutions.
Strong Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a range of people
3+ years of experience in supporting IT Infrastructure
Proven design, implementation and maintenance experience in
Cisco Umbrella
Microsoft Defender, InTune, Teams Calling , Jamf
Druva for M365 Backup & Recovery
Apple School Manager
Service Management Software e.g. ‘ServiceDesk’
Remote Management ‘TeamViewer’
